We
offer a
full range of mechanical engineering services. We provide
engineering services to help your facility comply with ASME,
API, NEMA, and other codes and standards. The most common
services that we provide are listed below: |
|
|
|
|
Fluid
Flow Analysis:
We
calculate flow properties to identify and prevent pump cavitation,
size piping and select piping components, predict and eliminate
water hammer or other undesirable fluid transients, size relief
valves. Complete piping system design includes design and
specification of supports, restraints, valve selection, specification
of specialty items.

Piping
System Design:
We
design piping systems as per API, ASME and NEMA codes and
based on good engineering practices. These include preparation
of detailed specifications and drawings of plant systems and
equipment for procurement. We also perform checking of vendor
data for technical suitability, preparation of piping production
drawings, material control, stress and flexibility analysis,
plant equipment layout drawings, isometrics, installation
specifications and schedules of work etc.

Stress
analysis: Our
piping designs assure that a system has adequate flexibility,
and specify spring supports and rigid restraints. Complete piping
system design includes design and specification of supports,
restraints, valve selection, specification of specialty items
such as expansion joints, orifice plates, pressure safety valves,
etc, and bills of materials. Piping designs will be provided
to the level of detail requested; from full designs, to piping
layout and stress analysis only. |
|
|
|
Pipe
Support Design: We
design piping supports and restraints for new and existing systems.
Supports include rigid supports (shoes, dummy legs, trunnions,
low friction sliders, etc) and spring supports (variable rate
and constant force). Restraints include strut rods, hydraulic
snubbers, axial stops, etc. We provide detailed drawings with
Bills of Materials. We can use loads calculated by others, or
calculate our own, whichever is needed. |
|
|
|
|
Expansion
Joints:
We design and/or specify expansion joints for new and existing
piping systems. Expansion joints are used to increase system
flexibility when piping loops are not an option. Expansion
joints are also used on rotating equipment and vessel nozzles
to prevent piping from overloading them. There are numerous
expansion joint styles, designs, and material choices available.
Correctly designed and specified expansion joints generally
outlast the piping system they are installed in. |

Plant
improvement, Debottlenecking & Trouble shooting: Piping
Vibrates or Oscillates, Internal Pipe Erosion, System Does
Not Deliver Expected Flow Rate, Safety Valves Chatter, Check
Valves Slam Open or Shut, Lines Needed in an Existing Plant,
Re-routing Existing Lines, Existing Piping Systems with Support
or Restraint Problems, Existing Piping Systems with Insufficient
Flexibility, Overloaded Nozzles on Rotating Equipment, Overloaded
Nozzles on Vessels, Tanks, or Heat Exchangers. |
